If you are interested in learning more about the issues raised in Out of Fear, the Council for Refugee Research at the University of New South Wales are doing some excellent work. They have some really useful teaching resources and information about ongoing projects... www.crr.unsw.edu.au

These guys work as advocates for refugees in Australia as well as providing information about the issues to the wider public. They are independent from the Australian Government. www.refugeecouncil.org.au

The North American Premiere of Out of Fear took place at the Annapolis Film Festival over Halloween Weekend 2003. This festival showcased independent films produced by national (U.S.A.) and international filmmakers. The Canadian Premier of Out of Fear happened at the Female Eye Film Festival in Toronto 20-23 November 2003. Their motto is "Always honest, not always pretty". www.femaleeyefilmfestival.com
